1. Overview
Electrify App ("we", "our", "the app") is an electrical engineering calculation platform and electricity price monitoring tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
2. Data We Collect
Account Information (Optional)
If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your plain-text password). Account creation is entirely optional — all calculators can be used without registration.
Saved Projects & Calculations (Optional)
Registered users may save calculation inputs and results to their account. This data belongs to you and is only used to provide the save/restore feature. We do not analyze, sell, or share your engineering calculations.
Anonymous Usage Analytics
We collect anonymous page view data (page visited, approximate country derived from IP, session duration, browser language) to understand how the app is used and improve it. No personally identifiable information is stored in analytics. Your IP address is never stored.
Push Notification Tokens (Mobile Only)
If you use the mobile app and grant notification permission, a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token is stored to deliver push notifications (e.g. electricity price alerts). You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, phone number, or physical address
- We do not track you across other websites or apps
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing
- We do not use cookies for advertising or profiling
- We do not collect payment information (no purchases are currently available)
- Calculator inputs and results are processed on our servers but not linked to your identity unless you are logged in and choose to save them
4. Third-Party Services
ENTSO-E Transparency Platform — We fetch European electricity market prices. No user data is sent to ENTSO-E.
EPIAŞ (Turkey) — We fetch Turkish electricity market prices. No user data is sent to EPIAŞ.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — Used for push notifications on the mobile app. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Vercel — Our hosting provider. May process IP addresses as part of request routing. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Retention
Account data and saved projects are retained until you delete your account. You can request account deletion by contacting us. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 24 months for trend analysis. Push notification tokens are removed automatically when they become invalid (e.g. app uninstalled).
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. For EU/EEA users, you also have rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Children's Privacy
Electrify App is intended for professional and educational use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
